The very first 3D printer was invented in 1984 by Chuck Hull. His machine used a process called stereolithography (SLA), which built objects layer by layer using liquid resin and light. That invention is what started modern 3D printing as we know it today and now the same basic idea is used in homes and small businesses like ours to create real, useful products. From a garage-sized machine in the 80s… to producing custom parts today. Pretty wild how far this tech has come.
